I am Lindsay Winter, a newborn and family photographer in the lovely city of Winnipeg, Manitoba!
A few things about me…
I have three super awesome kids, and a super awesome husband!
I’m a Creative Communications graduate, a news junkie, a schnoodle-owner, a coffee addict, a Netflix-binge-er, an Aquarius, a former video editor/graphic designer/reporter/photojournalist/multimedia coordinator, a proud mini-van driver, a really bad cook, and a pretty awesome movie trivia player. I am also a self-admitted exclamation mark-smiley-face overuser!!!! :):)
I don’t remember exactly when I fell in love with taking photos but I have loved documenting moments for as long as I can remember… I actually just found a time capsule I had made when I was about 10, and one of the notes read…‘When I grow I want to be: #1. Writer #2. Marine Biologist and finally # 3. Photographer.’ Well 10-year-old-me must have forgotten we have an extreme fear of sharks, so #2 was probably not meant to be;)… But it sure made me smile thinking that I am so lucky to be doing one of the things I had always wanted to do! (And while I’m not a writer, I know photography does have the power to tell amazing stories!)
My photography style...
I love images that are bright, simple, dreamy, pure, happy, fun, candid and of course, timeless:) I especially love being able to capture those special, natural everyday moments usually caught in between everyone smiling at the camera.
My photography sessions...
General sessions include a mix of lifestyle and posed photos, but I find everyone’s best smiles really come out when they are just being themselves and having fun :) I want to give each of the families I photograph truly unique photos- memories that reflect your own personality and style!
In addition to documenting families, I also offer content creation and corporate photography services for your business!
I will travel to your home or shoot at a location of your choice, throughout Winnipeg and select surrounding areas. Please feel free to send me an email with any questions you have!
